As the prosecution and defense completed closing arguments late last week, the jury is set to begin its deliberations in the Harvey Weinstein trial tomorrow. The jury, made up of five women and seven men, will have to decide which framing of the case it believes: the tearful accounts given by Weinstein’s accusers or the defense’s assertions that these women were not victims, but opportunists seeking connections and acting roles. Legal experts are on the fence as to how the verdict will come out.
