CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR UB SPORTS LAW CONCENTRATION CLASS OF 2023!

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR UB SPORTS LAW STUDENTS ON THEIR GRADUATION TODAY!!! The UB Center for the Advancement of Sport is especially excited for this Class of 2023. They began law school remotely during the pandemic, yet persevered, learned so much, taught each other and their faculty even more, and ultimately as a group achieved tremendous successes. We are thankful for their resilience, their courage, their energy and their immense dedication. This class is the first ever to form not one, but THREE Practica, focusing upon the Buffalo Bills Stadium Project, Name, Image & Likeness Policy & Law, and Player Injury Policy, respectively. They organized multiple Sports Law Round Tables featuring esteemed industry experts. It was also the first class to send representatives to the MIT/Sloan Sports Data Analytics Conference, laying the groundwork for more to come.

We congratulate our students on their commencement, and we thank them for the wonderful community they helped to build. We look forward to welcoming them back as alumni, subject matter experts and respected colleagues.

Special congratulations and thanks go to our Sports Law Concentration Certificate graduates: Jason Delmont, Charles Desmond, Donnett Hickson, Simon M. Honig, Connor Johnson, Christopher J. Kolber, Andrew Latona, John Liberti, Jacob Lewis, Emily Oczytko, Joseph O’Bryan, Michael Perlo, Grace M. Ponterio and Candace Sena.
